We are an INDIANA umbrella group of guilds who are spinners, weavers, dyers, knitters, felters and more. Who are active in Indiana’s vital fiber arts communities possibly belonging to but not required to a related guild or group.
In 1993, we began to connect with each other on a regular basis to share and promote news, resources, and inspiration. SWIFT continues to network fiber artists and producers in Indiana to facilitate learning opportunities and community development. If you are looking to connect with the fiber community in Indiana and beyond, SWIFT is a great place to start! There are several guilds, fiber artists and producers listed.
We want this website to include announcements, news, and schedules for upcoming fiber gatherings, workshops, festivals, and exhibits around the state.
If you are interested in becoming a member of SWIFT. It is now free of charge. Please just contact “swift.newsletter@gmail.com”.
As stated, there are now No Dues required. If you are interested in advertising, selling a fiber related item or want to promote the above mentioned wishes with SWIFT, or have other questions, please contact “swift.newsletter@gmail.com”.

Hi, I used to be a member of SWIFT, but let my membership laps because I couldn’t attend the functions. I’m moving soon and need to de-stash. I have raw alpaca/llama to *give away* (varying degrees of VM), and back issues of Spin Off. I have other roving for sale, cheap.People can contact me at indyrose@milmac.com. I’m still on your email list, as I get the newsletters. — Rosemarie
I have posted on SWIFT website, classifieds and will put on our face book page. Please send me a shout out if you gave this away. Thanks so much.
Hi.
Are any of your members up to knitting a cap for an infant? He is the 6-month-old son of my Scottish cousin, and I would like to send him something hand-made.
I will pay.
