Spinners and Weavers of Indiana Fiber and Textiles

Spinzilla 2017, October 2 – 8

Wonderful spinning friends! Spinzilla is upon us! I have it from the Chief (aka Susan Markle) that we will have a team again this year, and spinner registration will begin September 1!! Spinzilla week is October 2-8, and you can spin with our team even if you will be out of town, live far away, etc.

The cost to join the team is $15 this year, and the proceeds still go to The National Needlearts Association, whose mission is to help spread the joy of needlearts to everyone!

We will have fun things planned like last year, such as a free class with Kate for team members that will help prepare us to make the most of our Spinzilla week, and a gathering at the Trading Post one day during Spinzilla week where we eat, drink, and spin all day!!!

As always, this is a non-competitive team, meaning you don’t have to spin miles and miles of yarn (unless you want to!) to join us. We focus on personal goals, such as practicing a new skill, spinning for a larger project, or just making more time in our lives for spinning!!!

Please check out www.spinzilla.org if you want to learn more, and feel free to ask me, Kate Larson, or Susan Markle if you have questions!!!

P.S. We can help you register at the shop if you prefer:)
