Meet Kris LaMar
Much to everyone’s delight, Kris brought roving from her flock of Shetlands and Shetland-cross sheep to the 2013 Swift annual meeting at Conner Prairie. From left: Kris LaMar, Mary Schroeder, and Swift chairman Deb Totten.
Swift member Kris LaMar raises Shetland sheep, in addition to Shetland/Border Leicester and Border Leicester/Corriedale crosses near New Castle, Indiana. The LaMar family began raising sheep as a 4-H project. Kris and her daughters Lexi and Elizabeth have continued to expand their flock and also offer fleeces and roving.

I also have some Shetlands crossed with Border Leicesters and BL/Corriedale, ewes and wethers for spinner flocks with amazing fleeces, $75.00.
